When I had the software version 2.44 and kernel 1.54 on my DS, it would play some DS games and any GBA game I tried. Then a couple days ago I put the latest 2.51 software and kernel 1.60 on it and the latest SC software to convert the games. It plays every DS game without a problem or at least about 40 I tested which was double it would play before and now a DS cart doesn't need to be in the DS or holding any buttons to get a game to work, plus it loads really fast. But, now I can't play any GBA games, it just goes to a white screen. I tried holding down the start button when starting and the same thing happens, just a white screen. I have tried everything and can't get any GBA games to play, it goes to the GBA mode where the top screen is on, says gameboyadvance and goes white. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Try holding select instead of start.

Also, have you repatched those GBA games? Or are you using the GBA games from an older version of the patching software?

the gba mode transfer isn't completly 100% yet but should work fine.
but i agree you should hold select that will get you in the standard firmware part.

Ok, I tried holding select, the exact same thing happens, you see the games come up, it loads the game, then the screen goes white and nothing. If I have a DS game in the DS slot, then another file shows up showing the game was loaded to cart, not sure what that means. Now I haven't had a problem with any DS games and this is a big plus, but would still like to play some gba games. I've never needed any type of patching software in the past for the gba games and even tried them in past with no problems. Is there a patch I need for them to work on the SC CF? thanks!

I did try the GBA media player and it worked fine, but still no luck in getting GBA games working.

Uh, you definitely needed to patch them in order for them to work in the first place.

What you have to do is download the newest supercard software (2.51), install it, and find clean copies of those .gbas you had earlier, and repatch them.

Thanks for the patch info, It works fine now...I never patched them before and ran on the DS fine, is strange, but no worries now it works when patched. :)
