Hi! Cool forums and site.

I am thinking of buying the Supercard SD and Superpass (v1) bundle from www.cheapmod.net

I notice you can upgrade to v2 pass for a few quid xtra. I myself do not need a version 2 passme. It also includes a programmer.

But... I have a few questions.

1) Will a version 2 Passme (Superpass2) work fine with a DS that only requires version 1?
2) What is the programmer for? Does the Superpass(1) need it?
3) Does it matter what cart I put into the superpass, can I put any? (ie. Metroid Demo or Mario 64 or anyother game I have)

My main concern is about number 3.. seeing as I think the programmer is so that you can decide which cart you want to put in (I'm probably wrong) and the Superpass(1) doesnt come with it!

1. Yes
2. The programmer is primarily for passme 2 so you can program what game you want to use it with. This isn't necessary for passme 1 since it works with all DS games.
3. In superpass1, no it doesn't matter what game you put in it.

i ordered 2 supercard sds and a pass me 2 from that site and they came next day so its a good choice. :wink:

4) Is supercard Legal? I acidentally told my mother that is not and now she is skeptical.

The Supercard it's self is legal.. as it is not "intended" to play downloaded games

Incorrect. Supercard IS illegal. Any device that exists only (or at least, it's primary purpose) to circumvent copy protections is considered illegal in the US and many other countries.

Supercards and all other flash carts are ALSO illegal.
