I'd been depserate to get movies on my DS (with supercard SD and passme) having had spaghetti screens on gba movie player.
Tried  dpg the other night and it worked first time. Just tried to encode an ah my goddess now and it says next to mencode:-

a special audio codec does not respond.

and when i encode the avi it comes out as 3 files, an mp2, a dpgm1v file and a dpg.
none will play cept for the mp2 audio.
It's the same with all avis ive tried.
do i need to reinstall a codec?
please advise!

cheers..
matt.

Seems the DPG encoder aborted because it couldn't find the appropriate source video file decoder.  Try installing codecs, DivX/XviD, PowerDVD, Microsoft codecs, etc.  Also, try a different video source file.

oh wait the message next to mencode is:
a special audio codec does not correspond
not respond!

Thanks for your help!
I got it going just now after a major codec fiddle.
Seemed to work after I installed directshow.
No idea what had happened to cause it tho, hmm.
