any reason SC wouldnt work with DS Lite?

For GBA games?

As it is now it's just plug and play, is there any reason to believe the Lite will block the SC from using GBA games?

I don't think there is anything they can do to stop GBA games, atleast cheaply....

Then again, few use the supercard for just gba games, so if they block out passme/flashme somehow then it'll be a huge blow to the community.

Atleast till they find a new hack.

Yeah ... I don't think GBA games would be a problem at all. But won't be buying a DS Lite until I start hearing that it works with Superpass2 + Flashme + SC ... I seriously doubt it will work right off the bat. But I have lots of confidence in the scene people who work on figuring htat stuff out. Shouldn't be too long before there's a way to patch them ...

i read on the official japanese site ( i think it was there) but it said that there will be a cover for the GBA games

what that cover will look like or anything shouldn't be a big deal but it could prevent you from putting the DSL down flat on a surface

What do you mean, "cover" ... ? You mean an adapter or something?

If that's the case, I really hope someone (the SC team, M3 or whoever) comes out with a real DS adapter, perhaps using mini-SD. I know it would be kind of expensive, but even a $200 part would be offset by the savings on game carts ...

I think a cover as in something to just cover the hole when GBA slot is not in used. Not a bad idea actually considering how that hole is open and just waiting for a bug to crawl in when you are not using it!

The Dslite is suppose to work with passme2, but flashme compatibility is unknown yet.

I hope they're not touting the GBA slot cover as a selling point because I can buy a set of very nice port covers for the DS for about $2.50 here in Tokyo. The material is a kind of rubbery plastic, translucent, and looks/feels like very good quality.
