Hello all.

I finally got a PassMe2 for my DS and Supercard - looking forward to playing some DS roms finally.

When my PassMe arrived, it came in a padded envelope with no papers or instructions.  So I'm not really sure what I got.  I have included a pic - so any help would be appreciated:

My question is, how do I know if my DS firmware is in need of an upgrade? When I switch the Passme to 'card' I get a white screen on boot.  It does teh same if I switch the Passme to 'Passkey.'  I was assuming one of the two switches would just play whatever game I had plugged into the Passme.. but I could be wrong - I have no instructions and no idea what any of it does.

Any help would be appreciated.

I got my DS new on March 2nd, 2005. I always just assumed it was an 'old' one that wouldn't need any kind of upgrade.

(I loaned my Supercard to a friend, which is why it is not pictured above - I have not yet tried the Passme with a Supercard plugged in, which is probably why it's all white. I'll know Wednesday when I get it back)

Yes you need both passme(2)+supercard, otherwise white screens would be expected. Also, make sure your supercard firmware is updated first.

Your system looks like an older version DS, but run the firmware version test to be sure . . .

Cool!  Thanks a lot.  Hopefully it'll work without any issues. I appreciate the link.
