Hi
Is there any difference between the US (U) and European (I assume E stand for European and not English??) versions of a game? Indeed, apart from the language, what about the Japanese versions as well? Thanks

Some games are not released in Japan, US and Europe, for example there are a lot of Jap games that don't make it over here.

Usually the games are the same (except for the language in Jap games) but there have been known to be differences like extra features but that is very rare.

Sometimes European games have more selectable languages too.

Also us Europeans usually get the games last!

European versions usually have selectable languages at the start. There might be mild censoring or wording/name changes depending on the region as well.

It's worth mentioning that there are lots of other subtle changes in there, as well as maybe a million languages:

Many American phrases just don't translate - or are not widely used, or worse still are frowned upon.

Animal Crossing is a good example:

"Its all good" "I'm good" "perfect" "are you serious" are all dropped.

Thats right as far as speed and performance  I dont notice any diffrence atall between the regions
