I don't understand why a rom would run faster if it's the first thing on the card, but defragmenting just makes sense. The other thing you have to realize is that some DS games have a little bit of slow down on the real thing. Spyro the Dragon for example.

Me neither but it really did work for me I tried formating and putting all my roms back on a couple of times, and it didnt work, when I put it first thing on my card then put the rest of them it worked perfect, it's odd... I dont know.

gamekill, You dont have to put all the roms on one by one though once formated you can dump all your roms on the card at once and they wont go in fragmented, I dont think so anyways. I was just saying to try to put tony hawk first thing on the card. I might be wrong though.
