I have already use the save patch in this forum and the real time save still don't work. The RTS save fine but freeze on load. Any ideas. I try using 1.43 and 1.44 firmware. It do the same thing. However, when I switch it to 1.41, it freeze when I call up the real time save menu. But if I am not using a 1.41 firmware I can't use filmplayer. But any if there anyway for me to use the real time save successful.

By the way, I am using 2.20 software with the 4/29 rominfo.dat and the saver patch in this forum. I only enable the restart, save, and real time save function.

Thank you!!!

hi, it sound curios but i had the same problem. and trust me it is the compactflash card u are using. i tried 4 different compactflash cards, and with only one of them the realtime save was working. the problem appears mostly on  older compactflash cards. when i used the working one, the loading process was also faster. the problem is that older compactflash cards are slower as the supercard wants to write realtimesave data on it, so the written data is always bad. newer compactflash card and never problems with realtimesave again. much fun using this nice product. bye SyNTaXer

So any suggestions of using what kind of CF card. Brand?

SyNTaXer

its hard to say which one are working , but these are tested :

working :
extrememory (32/64/256/512MB)
Dane-Elec (32/128MB)
SanDisk (256 512MB)
Kingston (256/512MB)

working but problems with realtimesave :
Xelo 128MB
Pixo Media 32MB
no Name 24MB
Mr. Flash 16MB
Toshiba 512MB

i prefere to use only newer cards.

bye

I am willing to pruchase kingston/sandisk. However they have the normal one, 40x one and the 50x one. Which one should I get or the normal one would work already. Please help me make a choice!

SyNTaXer

i think normal should be ok. because supercard does not use the speed of such fast compactflash cards.
