The only reason chishm's firmware does not run commercial ROMs on the GBAMP is because he blocks them. Would the Supercard kernel work on the GBAMP since it doesn't rely on SRAM like the M3?

A firmware is designed to work for the circuitry it's made for.  It won't work with hardware not designed for it.

Supercard software may not rely on SRAM, but it does rely on the supercard's RAM. It loads the boot data of the rom into the built in RAM before launching the program.

Firmware is made for 1 set of hardware and one alone.
it's like trying to import an creative zen firmware on an ipod.
i'ts much easier to start from scratch
