Hi, I'm using Supercard SD with a Sandisk 256 MB standard. Whenever I play Animal Crossing or Mario Kart, the game randomly crashes.. I can't tell when it happens but it always happens when game loads (for exp: On mario kart, when the race is about the start, or on animal crossing when I get in/out the buildings) and it crashes with 2 black screens. I'm using trim and faster game play with both games. What should I do ?

Is your card filled almost completely? If so, that's probably your problem... try and leave 10% or so of your card empty.

Also, with animal crossing set the game to load from the supercard instead of from the SD card. It takes longer to load, but it doesn't crash when you do it that way.

I tried that , it also crashed when my SD card was 160 out of 256 mb full (at least mario kart did)..

But then again I'll try the Animal Crossing.. Thanks  :)

SanDisk has a wide range of quality... my new-ish 1GB standard SD is fine, but I've had/seen really poor quality SD cards from SanDisk in the past. Example: one of the support options on their site is returning the SD to the retailer where you purchased it. I've been lucky so far - only two bad flash cards... 1 SanDisk SD & 1 Kodak CF.

The very full vs half full thing may help some folks, but I think your SD card is the issue. I run a 512MB PNY [generic made in Japan], a 1GB PNY [Toshiba  made in Taiwan], and the aforementioned 1GB SanDisk [generic made in China] with only 2-10MB free and I never have any issues with DS games.

SuperCard is pretty versitile... try every option combination, try defragging the SD [seems pointless, I know], re-formatting [backup your stuff first], and maybe even another download of the ROM [worth a try]. Something should get your SanDisk SD going.

Good luck and have fun.
