still no divx!!!!

do u know if there is a player for divx with supercard ....it seems strange that nobody ever thought of that .........!!!

o yeah, it's so easy to do, why i haven't though of that, give me 5 min and i'll code you one ok :roll:

The non sarcastic response:

You will not see divx for DS. At least not in a useable way. MPEG1 and 2 is barely hitting 12-15FPS with moonshell. And I can tell you the DPG decoder is probably very well optimized. The author of moonshell is a genius in his work.

MPEG4 codecs (specifically divx and xvid ) will probably never be supported in its native format. At least, not at a playable speed.

all the other wankers forget that the cayman codecs already work well on the ds !!! just download the nds files of the demo

hehe you should thank koji, he was the one who gave the non sarcastic response  :razz:, anyway i really don't think we will ever see a working divx/xvid player for ds, you will always have to reencode in some way.
