Patching Probs on some games

This may be a bit of a double post, but I think it deserves it's own thread

In games (especially Sonic Rush), I just get two white screens when I patch the ROM to a .dsq file (I'm assuming dsq files are the ones that run off the SD card directly?). When I patch it as a .dsi file (which loads the 64000k to the Supercard before trying to start Sonic Rush) the ROM loads, gets just past the start menu then freezes - I assume this is because the ROM is bigger than the Supercard's internal RAM?

Anyway. Smaller ROMs seem to work better, but there are still many that don't. Usually patching these to run off the Supercard as .dsi files makes these work. When I try to patch as .dsq, and try to run these directly off SD they don't.

It's odd.

Is it my SD card? Is my Supercard defective?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure you are using the latest supercard patch software, and latest firmware.  I use this list for configuring the best supercard patcher settings . . .

If you still have problems try a different SD if possible.
