Hi folks,

In this last few days, when I started to play super princess peach, I notice the game enters or exits in her 'cry mode' random even I don't touch the botton screen. To test the touch screen, I enter in ds alarm mode, and in a few minutes (or seconds) he exits the alarm mode like I have touched the botton screen, but I never did. Someone here knows whats happening or have a program who checks the botton screen making a mark when it's pressed? I really sure the problem is in botton left of my screen.

thanks

Try recalibrating your screen to see if it works.

MHentai

thanks, I also try it but don't works :(

I try to exchange the batteries too

Now i'm testing another SC in my ds, let's see whats gonna happen

Edit: Don't work too, I'm crazy about this shit! I'll throw my ds in a wall! :)

Looks like the problem isn't SC related at all.

Still got that warranty?
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

MHentai

no, but here in brazil we don't have official nds relases, my ds is imported.

Deadmon

Checked if something is under the sides of the touch screen? That could we causing the problem. Even if you aren't sure, use a toothbrush and "scrub" the sides of the touch screen, as shown here:

It's not your DS or your supercard dude. I had a similar problem with Princess peach. Every time I would try to touch the bottom right mood heart thing it wouldn't work. I think its a rom issue or possibly a patch issue with the sc software. It did eventually work after rebooting the DS a few times. I also double checked all the current games on my CF card and all work fine, just Princess peach has the touch screen issues.

the bottom right heart returns you to "normal", so touching it NEVER does anything, unless you're in one of the other moods...

I have exactly the same problem, it randomly "clicked" on the same place. I sent it to Nintendo's repair center, they changed the touch screen, but the problem remained the same...

At first I though it was about the SC, but it even happened with my original MarioKart.

The only solution is to use your warranty...

Noo, tapping the mood you are in returns you to normal. The bottom right heart is "calm", which steadily depletes your vibe meter and replenishes your health.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

so it is...somehow it had never done anything for me, but now I tried again and sure enough "calm" ise useful afterall.... sorry for my misinformation

thanks for everyone support. but it's strange... I've played the super princess peach using my SC and my CF in another ds, and this stuff never happen. I'll try to clean up the touchscreen using the toothbrush like recomended before, and later i'll post the results.

Edit: the toothbrush works! very thanks to Deadmon for the tip :)

ImmortalNinja

Hey thanks for the tip.
I was having the same problem where my screen would auto tap itself sometimes to.
Turned out I had a crumb trapped in the edges.
NO more eating while playing for me!
Guess I dont need the back-ordered Lite now :)
