I just placed an order on hopebuy using PayPal's virtual debit card thing. I had to go through that iPAY Chinese payment site which made me kind of nervous since i couldn't fully understand exactly what i had to do. Then, on top of it all, my browser timed out so i hit reload. Eventually, it took me to the romman.net site but on Hopebuy it still says "Not Pay" on my order status. Paypal has already taken the payment out of the account. I was just hoping someone here can assure me this is just what happens like it takes awhile for them to recieve payment or something. I have sent hopebuy an email for confirmation but no response as of yet. Damn it, I hope i did everything right!!!  :shock:

Hopebuy has had good customer service up until this point, so if anything went wrong they should help you take care of it.

I thought that hopebuy doesn't accept payment via PayPal? Have they changed this? I had looked into buying a few from them, but at the time they didn't accept PayPal anymore and only payment via Western Union (who wanted to charge a ridiculous fee!).

Actually,... I just checked their site and it looks as though they're accepting PayPal payment again.

I recieved my supercard in just 2 days!!! Thats crazy! from China to here in just 2 days!!! I just can't believe it. Oh yeah, and the supercard is fucking sweeeeeet!!!! All you punk ass muthas out there sayin that it is shit cuz of the slowdown.... YOU SUCK!! The slowdown isn't all that bad on the majority of games with slowdown and so far, I've tested about 120 games on this mother and only come across about 10 unplayably slow games and most of those games were'nt that great. Except for Yoshi's Island and DKC2. That kind of sucks cuz those 2 games rank on the top 10 on my list. But, we can all just cross our fingers and hope that it's the software. Even if you guys don't think its the software, you don't know for 100% sure so i think only time will tell. There's always hope for everything. lol Well, once i get more games tested i'll post my compatibility results! I think I'm gonna go play Wario Ware Inc. now

Just a quick story about iPay troubles...

A little over a month ago, I had some major problems with getting iPay to accept my Visa payment.  I'd try to submit payment and get only weird html and processing errors in return.  I'm pretty sure the problems were limited to their English section, which seems to be set up a bit differently from the rest of their site.

I don't think they ever returned a single email of mine, either; after my experience I'm committed to never doing business with their shoddily run operation ever again.

HopeBuy was very helpful, on the other hand, and with both of us bugging iPay to take care of the issue we eventually got the matter resolved (after three weeks or so).  iPay quietly made a fix or two in their coding and finally allowed me the privilege of sending them my money.

Also, HopeBuy got me my order about three days after payment went through.  They really are a cool company.

Anyway, I'm just glad to hear that HopeBuy is accepting PayPal again; it's a much better option than the alternative.

(Also, on a completely unrelated note, this forum has been a great help in getting my SC set up.  Hello and thanks everyone!)
