Hello there.

This is just a little general question, but does anyone know of any really good deals online on SD cards as of like, right now, hehe. Lookin for really cheap 256 MB+ ones, in or around the $20-40 range. Has to be a good brand too (has to work with SD SC, hehe.)

I know a place where you canget very cheap SD cards. But sadly only in german and for Switzerland (don't know if they ship overseas...)

There are a lot of "sale archive" sites on the net you can watch for a good deal to pop up. I use http://bensbargains.net/ and often see 1 gig cards on there for $40 or so.

these work well.  they are equal to my 150x ritek on the sc (which means they're about as fast as the sc can handle).

i don't what about your country
but in my country
you can get new V-GEN/A-data 256MB SDCARD less than 20$ (US)

better browse arround your city and find some good store
since you ask Online Shopping, maybe even you can get cheaper price
but in the end you have to pay more if there's something wrong w/ your card (coz u have to pay shipping cost to RMA it)
also w/ less than 50$ you can get 1GB SD CARD (i just bought it 3 weeks ago, A-Data 1GB 60x)
it not cheaper... but it's safer

there's no use getting a faster card since SC SD it self can only read max 20-30x

Actually, the math and what several people with different cards have said there aren't really any noticeable differences after 50X or so, there is one or two other people who have said otherwise, but I think it's safe to say they are either imagining things, or the slower card is a cheaper brand or something along those lines. Or simply coincidence.
