My Supercard SD still not working in Gameboy Micro

Hi all - I've been sifting through the forums and noticed that a few people have posted this issue before, but are either flamed or told that they're wrong.

My Supercard SD does not work in my GB Micro.  It works fine in the DS, SP, GBA, even Gameboy Player.  I've tried with several different SD cards, some of them single speed and some high speed (up to 150X).

I have a friend who just received a new Supercard, and his works fine on his Micro.  I remember reading in the forums that certain makes of the CF version have this problem, but the general concensus seems to be that no SD supercards should have an issue.. well, mine does :(

What happens is that games may or may not start up, but after a few seconds there are graphical glitches, the speaker starts spouting out crazy sounds and usually the game just ends up crashing.  I've been using my Supercard for awhile for both GBA and DS games, and I'm using the latest firmware and patching software.  (patching 2.51 and firmware 1.60).

If you have the same issues, or a solution to this very real, but seemingly random problem, could you please post here?

If you're going to tell me that I'm wrong or stupid or lying, could you please not post?  :D  There are already too many threads in this forum about this problem that get shot down for whatever reason, and I'd really like to figure out how to get my Supercard working in my Micro.

Thanks!

Yah I was thinking of doing that.. I've been trying to get him to bring it into work ;)

Thanks for the advice, I'll give it a shot and post the results.  8)

I own both a GBA SP and GB Micro, and I have the same problems too.

While I've had better luck with the majority of games working, I still have some games (etc. Mario Tennis crashing at the exp allocation screen) having some problems and some games (etc KOF Howling Blood, Legend of Zelda Minish Cap) freezing and playing weird sounds.

The same games work perfectly on my GBA SP, so either its something wrong with the micro or theres some incompatibility between the micro and the supercard sd.

Hopefully the next firmware release fixes this(if there's going to be updated GBA compatibility at all).
