when i d/l the programs it came with 2 versions gba and nds so y would I think to chang the gba to nds when there was one already  there.

Yautja

becasue we TOLD you that you had to add a loader to it or rename the ds.gba

rickf1018

you told me to rename the gba file to nds, but there was one already there so I assume that was the nds file since there was 2 of them.

mikesinclair

that nds file I think doesn't have the loader attached.  I think certain flash cards don't need a loader attached and that is why there is that .nds file.  The ds.gba file does have the loader attached, but you have to change it to .nds for it to work on the supercard

heres the step by step for MOST homebrew

get the .ds.gba version (if available(see note*))
    rename .ds.gba to .nds
copy renamed .nds file Directly to sd card
    turn on ds
    go to file
    open it
ok now if that doesnt work then reply and say so
note*:if there is no .ds.gba version download moonshell or devkitpro and use the included dsbuild.exe
note**:how to use dsbuild.exe:put .nds file into same folder as dsbuild.exe, drag .nds file into dsbuild.exe and follow above steps
