Hi,

Just got my SP and SC from cheapmod - great service.

I cant get it to work :(, im sure its just me being thick.

I have latest fw (yellow screens on picochat test)

I have tried 3 firmwares on the SP, Ouendan, Tony Hawks and mariokart.

Each time the flash has said that it was succesful,

I copy the relevant 2 files (gba and sav) to the SD and boot the supercard, run the gba file and then plug in the SP, (with relevant game inserted) and powercycle the DS but it just boots the health and safety screen and then goes to 2 white screens.

Please can anyone advise, I am going mad :(  Is there a specific timing for the power cycle?

cheers.

you have to powercycle very fast (less than 2 seconds) for it to work.
have you followed the tutorial on cheapmod.net site as it explains it very well.

I dont think its programming correctley.

I tried it manually at DOS prompt and Im getting a windriver6 error.

I will try it on another PC tomorrow.

I'm getting the exact same error now, I programmed it before with no problem but I bought AC:WW recently and thought it would be nice to reprogram it to work with that game ... stupid me. Any luck with yours, since you posted?

yea got mine working :-)

It wasnt programming correctly.

Needed to use a different PC.

The passme flash takes about 10 seconds.

If it happens much quicker than that it has not flashed, even if the software says that it has.

yup... had the same experience!  even if it says that it flashed successfully there's often an error in the background... with the playsfv***exe.  I solved the problem by manually patching through the dos-promt using the files downloaded directly from darkFader's page... somehow the files that come with the superpass2 software are corrupted if you have certain anti-virus software installed - ANTI VIR is one of the bad ones!
