Moonshell Pic Size/Dimension Limit?

Decided to try my hand at using Moonshell, got it up and running just fine. Here is my problem though, when I go to view a .jpg it comes out all garbally gooked. I then tried a small 7kb image and it loads up just fine. I assume that the other pics I tried were either to large (filesize) or too big (dimensions).

If I am correct does anyone know the dimensions/filesize limit allowed?

Thanks.

EDIT:

Now I am really confused, I made my pics small (200x150 pixels) in the .jpg format and they still come out all messed up. I converted the same pics to both .png and .bmp and they load up perfectly. Any ideas?

Did you try the newest jpeg plugin off the moonshell site?

Maybe it's a problem with the newer version. Works fine in the older one.

There is a limit to the size of the jpeg, but it's upwards of 16,000x16,000 but yes they render slow.

If you want the maximum size of an image without scrolling, it's 256x192.

I've had tons of problems using JPG on moonshell so I just downloaded a batch folder converter and ran it through my SD card converting all JPG to PNG files - all is well now.
Some JPG files however load perfectly with the new JPG plugin, I found a majority did not. All of these files however have worked perfectly when converted to PNG. (All based on using DS to read manga scanlations from a SCSD.)
