I got me a Asus WL-167g USB Dongel with the Asus progs whitch already suport SoftAP! works like a charm and i can take it with me to friends;P


and the farthest i been is at my friends place across and still playing its like 250meters .. with only the last bar left..

thanks for that Qazza..excuse my ignorance, but what is it ...a form of wireless router ala the nintendo??
Is this a generic version of the Nintendo USB??
Cheaper?
Presumably it works with other gaming systems too??

HEy it's all right only 2 weeks ago i didn't even know nothing about the NDS ;P but i'm a fast learner as i bet u are too ;P

It's a Wierless network card ala USB.. with the supreme rt2500 chipset.. but what's better is that Asus have there own software whitch support SoftAP.. now what's SoftAP then .. well it's Software emulated AP and AP is Access Point .. aka a router that's software based .. anyway it's that same chip that nintendo used in there dongel.. (acrm for USB Wireless network card) i got my super cheap.. 305SEK (i'm swedish ;P) that was incl the shipping .. and u got some kewl extension usb cable a extra direction pointing usb extension.. also a necklace thingy to keep ur usb dongel with you when ur at the move. (friends place or something)

Best part is it works with ur normal wierless nic's and with ur PSP with ur XBOX and with ur Nintendo DS .. all in the same settings ohh my lapptop also use's one of thease just had to get me 3 of them once i saw them.. hehe..

Short term .. SoftAP = WiFi HotSpot

Hope you got any smarter now with all my babling.. if not give me some flaming and i'll do better..

well it's 305SEK = 31,69 EUR or 38,04 USD ..got it Online from a swedish shop .. but i'm sure u'll find something..

yes, about the same price here in Australia.....when converted....
I'm convinced....the Nintendo dongle is $50Aus , but for a couple of $$more i can get this one which has more apps....
