Some sources say that the North American release of the DS Lite will coincide with the release of "New Super Mario Bros."...  This could put the DS Lite in the U.S.A by May 7th!  Some others were saying that it may be a misunderstanding, and that while there will be a bundle with DS Lite + New Super Mario Bros., that does not mean that the Lite will be release at the same time as Mario Bros.

I was thinking though, that it kind of makes sense.  "New Super Mario Bros." was in final stages of development at the end of 2005, and the launch date was first delayed till mid april, then till may 7th.  Why would they delay the launch for so long?  Maybe it's to make a big splash with the introduction of the DS Lite?  Remember, the initial early rumours of the DS Lite stated that the 'redesigned DS' would possibly be released in April.. April was also the first delayed release date for New Super Mario Bros.. hmm. maybe i'm thinking too much.

I hope it's true!

Well it wont. Considering the DS Lite is $179.99, then the bundle will most likely be around $199.99

I thought it was going to be 130 and the normal ds would go down to 99.  But who knows.
