( ill bet it can be done )

Nearly all games can run in fast/direct mode.

Improve the game compatibility.

Improve the compatibility of sd cards

Enhanced function added:

Control interface with Windows-like style.

Add external plugin function: WallPaper, Icons, Background of Windows, Start Up Music and Settings can be external pluged in.

Support MultiTask operation. Now can support following MultiTask modes:

Read Ebook and listen Music at the same time.

View Picture and listen Music at the same time.

Read Ebook and view Picture at the same time.

Read Ebook, view Picture and listen Music at the same time.

Read Ebook and watch Movie at the same time.

Directly support playing more A/V files format. eg. DPG and MP3 etc.

That's because the latest M3 firmware incorporates large portions of Moonshell.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

Well picture I can understand but watching a movie while reading is pretty pointless..

echo13

dont you do that when u watch a  movie with subtitles....? pointless?

filozof

But the subtitles and movie are related, and they are short so you can read them quickly..

at this point I think the supercard has better compatibility than the m3, the supercard has recently gained a non working rom the m3 has gained two.

about the facy interface: the problem is that there is not enough space on the supercard fimware chip(or something) to store anything large(like pictures, or large pieces of code ect.)
Maybe it would be possible to start an nds file at startup wich will give you your fancy buttons but i'm not sure.

and If you want play dpg/mp3 on the supercard just run moonshell first.
okay, it'll be cool to have it in the firmare so you don't have to power down the unit every time you want to switch between playing video and games but still...

It's not like all of this is significant...

Romman has said he'd think about making a moonshell plugin for DSI and DSQ files. If he does so, that puts it one step closer to autoloading moonshell if it finds it on your CF or SD cards.

If the supercard could autoload moonshell with full support for reading and playing all NDS rom formats, then it'd pretty much have full support for all of those things. You'd just have to make sure you had moonshell somewhere in your root dir.
