Do I need to convert the game saves that I would download from a site like http://www.dualscene.net/  it looks like all the saves are converted / made for M3.

Is there a software save converter to convert them to supercard???

No need to convert. All of their saves come with 3 save types for the different flash cards. Just use the .sav file, they are in SC format
