I'm trying to link my SC:SD with my Gamecube running fire emblum path of radience. Linking with it requires holding the start+select buttons before the game loads. Is there any way to have a game load from the SC and then have it restart the gameboy with the rom image loaded or can this not be done?

With some games it works with others it doesn't, so try.
And your solution of restarting can't be done, sorry.
