Okay.. sorry for the long pause delay in getting these posted up for you.

As previously discussed, the AGB cartridge cover for the NDSL appears to have actual leads,
and many of us were curious as to what they might do, if anything...

(  Those topics are here: http://www.scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3017
and here: http://www.scdev.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3080  )

So i have taken apart the little (fake) AGB cartridge that comes with the NDSL:

It was easy, just one of those tri-wing screws, and it clicks apart very easily:

Now, on closer observation, it appears that the leads from the metal just connect to themselves, and don't do anything at all.
Sorry everyone, it isn't extra memory or anything like that.  Basically it seems to just fill in that hole for protection-sake:

Well, pretty anti-climactic yeah?  I'm thinking the fake leads are just to keep the contact points clean and un-scratched.

Let me know if you have any questions about it!

Cheerz!

That's exactly what it's for, to keep the contact points clean and un-scratched. Too bad users of the old DS dont have that luxury  :?

LOL MAD2X,

The only drawback on keeping the SC in all the time now is that since the NDSL is so much smaller, it REALLY sticks out!
