anyone tried the linkage?

I still can't get it to work with Advance Wars. I also read on gbatemp that it does not appear to work with Band Brothers either - so it appears to still be broke unless there is something else you have to do that they are not telling us.

I think the downloads work Ive been having a little troubles with the login thing.  hopefull they fixed all the probles with the old 2.52.

Anyone want to post what's ACTUALLY fixed?  These ROM numbers are just never helpful.

The only things I have on my "still broke" list are:

Madagascar (save to SC)
Ultimate Spiderman (crashing at the beginning)

There appear to be a lot more fixes than that ...

To fix spiderman, press start to pause the game as soon as you see Peter Parker and Venom on the field with the rain in the backround. Then unpause and the game won't get stuck.

I'm hoping they can fix the random white screens in Sonic Rush and Brain Age. I'll have to try the 2.53 patch and see it it helps.

That's not a fix ... that's a work around.  

I don't have any white screens in Brain Age.  Been playing every day.

I just done brain age with 2.52 , and had been using Sonic Rush since like 2.50 patcher perfectly fine...

Also , what's up with them listing 1.61 firmware twice?

Brain Age crashes randomly with 2.52... not so much with 2.51 or 2.53.

Brain Age is running perfect for me with 2.53 - running and saving directly on SD. I used to get white screen lockups with 2.52

NDS Users please install firmware  1.61 with 2.53 convertor. (make sure not to download the wrong one with CF/SD)

2.53转换软件更新内容：

1. 修正NDSROM 0399,0400,0388,0390,0223出现的BUG
Fixed bugs for above roms
2. 增加NDSROM补丁库编号到405
Enlarged NDS rom patch library up to  405
3. 增加NDSROM是否联动选项,解决部分NDS游戏不稳定现象
NDS  linkage can be enable or disable. Games are more stable now.

PS：不敢保证无bug，此次找了些玩家进行内部测试bug应该会少很多。

内核安装方法：本次1.61内核可在（GBA模式下请先升级到1.60）GBA/NDS模式下升级。（升级时切勿断电！！）卸载旧版转换软件后安装最新版本软件。
To upgrade the firmware1.61 (from 1.60 with can only be upgraded in GBA mode), you can do it in both GBA mode  or NDS mode. (do not turn the power off with upgrading) Uninstall older version of converter  before install the new one.

GBA联动功能:需要使用联动功能的DS游戏必须在转换软件属性中选择于GBA游戏联动的选项后转换。如果运行NDS游戏时发现同目录下有同名的GBA游戏,内核会先装载GBA游戏,以实现联动功能(例: 0094.dsq,0094.gba,那么0094.dsq与0094.gba会实现联动)
GBA Linkage : turn on when  needed.  rename the GBA rom to the correct names and so the GBA will be loaded first.

注意事项：首先前提用Superpass或FLASHME V6以上！需要玩联动功能的玩家GBA ROM不要转换！请确保您的GBA ROM是Clean ROM不被修改或是打过一些补丁的。语言版本需要于NDS对应版本一致。例如：0094日版恶魔城苍月对应的GBA ROM需要是0996 日版晓月圆舞曲。游戏名称不要太过于长以免识别不到。
Attension:  Please use Superpass or Flashme v6 or above (to use the linkage)! DO NOT CONVERT THE GBA ROM before linkage, and make sure it is clean and unaltered in  anyway. Rom should be of the same  Language. E.g. 0094(J) NDS should be linked with 0996(J) GBA. Make sure the filename is  not too long.


PS：2.52软件因为加了新功能引起的不稳定现象，此次内部玩家测试也把旧的游戏测了部分。等待其他玩家的测试报告。最后修正后会正式发布。
PS: Since new functions are included 2.52, there are some unstability. We have test the new version also for some old games. We are waiting for more testing and report.

死机，与以前的状况一样。还是需要完全载入至SC方能玩，但无音效

默认设置白屏（注：某多拿到的BETA版修正了这个问题，默认设置可运行）
关闭快速游戏后运行正常，存档正常，复位正常。与0399相比较游戏速度略有拖慢。
0388 哈力波特
运行正常，存档正常，复位正常。
0390 冰河2
运行正常，存档正常，复位正常。
0223 动物之森
运行正常，存档正常，复位正常。
0083 应援团

2.53 still doesn't save the "Trim ROM" option.. A few releases back (2.51) this got broken and has never been fixed.

So, when ever you load a list of games to convert, you have to double click on EVERY one and select "Trim ROM"

Has anyone else found a workaround to this?

Hmmm...I don't know how to fix it but maybe there is a configuration file where settings are stored and it would be possible to change default options for DS roms. However, I can't try this because I don't even know where the file is. And I'm not sure is it possible.

Well I got 2.53 and 1.61 yesterday from my original 2.51 [skipped 2.52 because of the Animal Crossing issues].

Brain Age, etc etc seem to be completely fine now.

I'll check Bust A Move later on.

can anyone help me with my patcher every since i got 2.52 every rom i patched gave me a white screen.... its not my sc because i had a friend patch a rom for me on his pc v 2.52 and sent me the file and it works fine.. i've tried uninstalling the patcher and reinstalling many many times and still the same results... even now with 2.53 its the same... im thinking im not completely uninstalling the 2.52 version... any suggestions?

Make sure you have the correect version for either SD or CF.  That sounds like your problem to me.
