I don't know if commercial games will offer more than 4 player, I don't see why not, but it's very possible with homebrew using WiFi lib.

None of the games right now support more than 4 players.. But in the future it might be possible of couse. I can't wait to play an MMORPG on DS..

Yes, the DS can handle it.  I don't know if Nintendo has any technical restrictions on their private network.  I'm just saying it's very possible we will see dedicated homebrew game servers in the future.  I predict Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games for the DS.

MMORPG's are highly overated and are meant to be played for extended sessions of time. I doubt if there will ever be an MMORPG for a handheld system.

Is World of Warcraft overrated ? Did you play it before ? I'm not a huge MMORPG fan but games like WOW are very amazing. And it would be cool to see games like Ragnarok on NDS..

I think its only a matter of time before we get one on the DS or PSP, there are already a few for mobiles so I'm sure handhelds aren't far behind. I just hope we get one via WFC with no monthly charges ( hey I can dream ) mmmm EveDS.....
