Ive come across different solutions for the "SD not found" problem, the paper on the Lattice chip worked for a while, but now my SCSD/SD card seems dead, there is no way I can get it to boot, Im terribly broke ATM, so if any of you guys can help me out, I would REALLY APPRECIATE it.

I have a Flashed Silver DS, kernel 1.60. Kingston 512mb SD card, Supercard SD.

Thanks alot!

I've noticed an increasing number of posts by people having problems with Supercard going dead. Most people are just confused about the procedure for getting Supercard working. However some people have had perfectly working Supercards go dead. Obviously there is always the possibility the SD/CF or GBA slot contacts are bent or dirty. Also, a bad CF/SD will make Supercard appear broken. Some Supercard issues may even be hardware failure.

I believe a small number of Supercards have died because the firmware is corrupt. If you have a dead Supercard and you've tried everything to get it working, you might want to try re-flashing your supercard using WiFiMe and DF's flashmp.zip

If you don't have the desire or means to get WiFiMe working, I will personally try to re-flash your Supercard firmware for you. The procedure is simple enough I will perform this service free of charge to SCDev.org members. You will need to send your supercard to me and pay for return shipping. Regardless if my attempt to re-flash your supercard is successful, your supercard will be returned. PM me if you are interested or need more information.

kinda hard to send something from south eastern europe to the US. I dont know too much about WifiMe, and how to work with it, but I do have a Laptop with a wireless network card.

WiFiMe is a very useful tool for sending homebrew code from your PC to your DS using "download and play".  With this setup you can run DF's flashmp.nds to try and re-flash your SC.  I'm not sure this will fix your SC but it's worth a try.  You will need to have a PCI wireless card with the RT2500 or RT2560 chipset . . .

It appears I dont have a RaLink chipset, I talked to Romman on msn and he told me to solder it, my SC warranty is broke cuz I opened it up. There goes 50 bucks. Seems like Im going to have to buy a new one, and this time, I might not get a Supercard due to the hard time its been giving me. :(

Yes, if you can see physical damage then no use trying to re-flash the firmware.  Take apart your SC and have a real good look, you might get lucky and find a simple fix.  A soldering iron is cheap.
