Hi,

I just bought a supercard SD and i put some games on my SD card, plugged in my Magickey and i got this msg: ?ot find the SD Please turn off the gba?

Also, I haven't flashed my DS yet or upgraded firmware.  can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong? am i supposed to update firmware for something? can someone post me a link? and is my magickey automatically supposed to help it work or am i supposed to upgrade that too?

please help me! i'm at wit's end! thank you!  I also got this msg when testing L+R:

Test SD/MMC
SD/MMC error:
Error code: 0b

Now SC Version: 1.6

I have an Kodak 1gig SD card.  Is that bad?
What does that error msg mean?

sagaman

Thank you.  I'll try that and see if that's the prob.  Question, though, is my magickey supposed to work w/out me flashing that or flashing my DS or SD card?  Or even not upgrading my firmware?  Is that a prob too?  etc?  thanks.

Yes, its supposed to work without you flashing ur DS. That is wat you use to flash ur DS when you are ready to take that step. After that, you won't need the MK anymore  :D

I appreciate your help so much!  Can you answer these two for me?

Am I supposed to flash my SD card? Or upgrade any firmware, like of the DS's or the SD itself?  Cause I'm so relatively new and desperate to make the supercard work, despite the errors i've been receiving.  it's been so weird.

in your opinion, is it my supercard that's messed up or is it my SD card?  thanks!

Thanks for the help everyone!  I found out that it's my SD card that wasn't working.  My Canon 32mb worked, but my stupid Kodak 1gb sd card didn't.  Why do you think that is?  Is it b/c Kodak is more of a pic. card?

Glad you sorted out your problem :D Did u try reformatting the Kodak card to FAT?

sagaman

hahah yeah.  but i hear there should be no prob w/ SD cards, b/c they are FAT formatted and work back and forth in the DS and digicams/etc. without reformatting.  So good thing, unlike CF cards.  thanksf or ur help!

Pulstar

sagaman, he means format it to FAT, not FAT32. There's a difference. FAT32 will not work. Also, once you upgrade to the newest Supercard firmware the Kodak card might work.
