Wouldn't this really, really help with MPEG playback in Moonshell?  Is the crappy CPU clockspeed on the DS the main reason DPG videos spaz out on high bitrate scenes?

No No No, No overclocking, it will work but you'll blow your ds, you have to have external hardware to get it to run stable so this is totally unpractical

well, its like a fpga, maybe its possible to design a circuit for overclocking it easily, but i think its not a great idea, what will you get¿? i love to play games with my ds, and play some video file, but if i want something with more options, i will get a GP32X or something like that.

hhmmmm u got this all wrong overclocked gba and ds's are nothing like pcs overclocked pc's dont have super fast mouse movements / movies as they have sevral seprates clocks in each processor

some japneese websites have overcloked gbas by simply replacing the quartz clock crystal to a diffrent one (no huge boards needed out of ds)

the advantages of such thing would be cheating in games

it would be interesting to see the effects of oced ds's on a mario kart online match  :lol:
