Thats right at tigerdirect.com they have a 512MB SD for only $10 and 128MB SD for free.  The rebates realy suck but its worth it. I got both and they
work with the supercard.

Here is the 512

Here is the 128

Is Target trustable with rebates ? If it was Staples or Bestbuy I would buy it without any doubt.. And how does this SD card work with SC and games ?

Hm...I'm running out of space on my 1 GB card, maybe I should get the 512.

Im not sure I just got it and stuck it in and it was already fat format, but I am using it on my digital camera and it keeps coming up with an error so I dont know if it works, I will test again later right now I dont have much time.

I have seen alot of people with trouble with rebates regarding Tigerdirect, hopefully your experience is better.

totaltoanage

just got a 512 today. completing rebate out this week. soo cheap. nice.

I have tested the 512 and it works fine, the rebates do realy suck but its worth it.

I'd prefer to spend $35 at newegg.com and get a 50x 1GB AData card, theirs comes with a lifetime warranty, that Connect3D has only one year.

a mail-in (or online) rebate is a partial refund.

It is a form of a discount, but you only receive it later.

For instance, you may pay $59.99 for a memory card, and the price "after rebates" is $29.99.  So you pay 59.99 first, and then you mail in a (or more than one) rebate form, which will be processed, and eventually you'll receive 30.00 in the mail. (hopefully.. i've had some rebates that took up to 8 months to get back to me)

mgarrine

thank you for your kind help..only now connected.

There is no guarantee also if you will get your rebates back. You need to send mail with signature confirmation as many like to claim they never receive it, while others invalidate it saying you did something wrong.

I avoid rebates at all costs.

ive never had any problems with rebates from tigerdirect, but sometimes they can take as long as 3 months to recieve, and if you fill out the rebate form incorrectly, or try to get two rebates when only one is allowed per person/hosehold/whatever you dont get a notice saying you dont get your rebate, you just dont get anything. so just read carefully and you should be ok.
