New version of Rain is out:

SaTa has updated their Rain program for the NDS to r13. Rain is a homebrew utility used to backup your NDS game saves that are stored on the NDS cartridges. This application is perfect for anyone who wishes to edit their save game or just create a nice backup just in case something unfortunate happens. In the newest update, there isn't much English to tell what was updated, but this is what I got from SaTa's release notes:

   * It imports the gba_nds_fat file
   * Adds game's name to file (improved from r12)

This program has only been tested on the GBAMP (CF) cartridge and is confirmed not to work on M3's SD adapter yet..

i'm using this as follows but am gettin no results.

game in slot
rain directory in root folder
rain.nds in folder

all i get is a white and black screen...wot am i doing wrong?!

I think you have to add a loader to it.  In moonshell folder, I think in the wintools folder you will see dsbuild.exe drag and drop the rain .nds file onto dsbuild.exe it will make rain.nds.gba

Now rename the file to a nds file.  Just put .nds on the end of the file.  Make sure that you don't have Hide extensions for known file types on.  If you do go into a folder "any folder" and go into the tools menu and select folder options and then select the view tab. Scroll down and you will see a box with Hide extensions for known file types.  Make sure that box is unchecked.

What mikesinclair said is correct. That is what you need to do. Did some successfull restores (on some older games) so it works.
