Is there a way to update the PocketNes in SuperCard, because the newer version is 9.98 while the built-in is 9.97. Thanks, it's a great product.

I have this same exact question.  In the root of my SD memory card, i found the pocketnes.gba file.  I tried replacing that file with the updated one.  No change.  Just for giggles, I deleted the same file out of my SD memory card.  To my surprise, all of my NES roms still worked.

I was not aware that the pocketnes emulator was in the SC itself.

So how do you update the built in emulator?  Is there a workaround to use the updated version?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can't put a new version of the emulator in yourself. The NES emulator is part of the firmware, and it's a specially compiled version to work with SC.

You can use version 9.98 though. You just have to use the normal GBA rom builder. Put all the roms you want and then put it through the supercard patcher. But it limits roms to those that you compile with the rom, and the file can't exceed 32mb or it won't load in the super card.
