I searched the forums and found out how to use Etool to get save files from the DS card to the Supercard by way of SRAM.  I have not found a way to get a save file from the Supercard back to SRAM so that Etool can move it to the DS card.  Does anyone know how this is done?

Thanks

Jay

RAIN by Sata. This app lets you download and upload saves. One of my most used apps.

I did download RAIN but could not get it to run.  I tried both the nds file and running it through the Supercard client.

Sata made his own homebrew SC SD convertor, which are you using SD or CF? Try using NDSLoader programs. You need a loader for the file that's not the SuperCard patcher.

Never run homebrew (Rain) through the supercard patcher.  The supercard patcher client is for commercial roms only.

Most homebrew will come with .nds and .ds.gba files.  The .nds file is the original homebrew binary, and is good for running with emulators, WiFiMe, or sometimes moonshell. The .ds.gba file is a patched version to work with a passthrough device (passme) and a GBA flash card.  The confusing part is supercard wants GBA roms to be named .gba, and NDS roms to be named .nds

With supercard the solution is to rename .ds.gba files to .ds.nds, and that will solve your problem with running Rain.

NDSLoader is the program header that is combined with an original .nds file to output a patched .ds.gba file.  Sometimes you will need to manually patch a program if the hombrew only comes with an .nds file.

Another confusing thing is that some homebrew will already come patched and will already be named .nds for use with supercard.
