I dont have moonshell on my pc now but i think the sync problem can be solved using the L button, it pauses for a second and the audio is returned

This could be good idea but it may be difficult to choose right bitrate. Shouldn't it be different for different movies?

Maybe you've got old version without few things to make sychronization better (dithering and GOP skipping).
I just sent you MoonShell 1.11 + global.ini so check your e-mail.
With those settings I've got only little de-sync and it doesn't get worse even with long movies.

For working Moonshell you need only .nds. If you copy "shell" folder (it must be in the main directory of your memory card) with "global.ini", custom settings will be loaded.
There is also "plugin" folder for plugins. I didn't send you any of them which are needed for playing music and viewing pictures but you can download them from http://mdxonline.dyndns.org. Search for "enhancing plug-ins".
