Flashme Problem; Constantly activating passme!

Don't know if anyone else has had this problem. Flashed my buddy's DS a few months ago and he kept the flashme.nds file on his SC. Anyway, my guess is he accidentally might've reflashed his DS without a passme, but he doesn't remember. So now, if the Supercard is in, once you turn on the DS, it'll automatically go to the Supercard menu. Maybe this isn't even the case and it has to do with the card. The only way to play DS games from the DS slot or run Pictochat is to remove the SC (and that's a hassle)?
I tried reflashing the DS now with a Superpass, but to no avail. Still does it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Isn't that the purpose of flashme :?: , to go to the supercard menu without using a passme??? and i thinl that you can go to the normal ds menu by pressing select or some other buttons ( i don't know cuz i don't have it) Hope that helps :)

It's a feature of the last couple of firmware updates for the supercard.  It's not a malfunction, but a "convenient feature". he probably updated the supercard firmware since the time you flashed his DS.

just tell your friend to boot while holding "select" to bypass flashme autoboot.

I thought it was to hold "select AND start" after you turn on the power?

Silly me. I figured that's the problem. I tried pressing ABXY, but I guess select does the trick. Excellent. Thanks everyone!
