How did u get ur DS lite to come up as a removable drive??

jmr

thanks mavis i love this

Quotemavis crystalDS icon set

These icons were designed to match the crystalMX set, which can
be downloaded here: http://mavisxp.com/crystal/ ... there are
596 custom icons in the MX set, plus these four DS icons, which
brings the whole thing to a nice, round number of 600. Not too
bad, I think ... ;)

To get WindowsXP to use these custom icons for your DS-related
files (.sav/.nds/.dsq/etc), just follow these steps:

1. Double-click the file you want to change.
2. When Windows says it cannot open the file, select the option to
'choose the program from a list'
3. You'll have to browse to see it, but choose the Supercard
  patching software.
4. Check the box to 'always use selected program to open this kind
  of file'
5. Close the Supercard patching app when it opens.
6. Repeat 1-5 for all of the file types you want to change.

Now, getting WindowsXP to actually use the custom icons:

7. Open "My Computer" and click Tools|Folder Options|File Types
8. Scroll through the list to find the file type you want to change,
for example "NDS" - then click the "Advanced" button in the
  lower right
9. Click "Change Icon" and choose one of these custom icons.

That's it! It wouldn't be such a long process if it weren't for
the first part, assigning a program to open each file type. But that
part is neccessary - you have to register a file type with Windows
before you can make changes to it (changing the icon, etc) ... If
you're using an OS other than WindowsXP, you'll have to find out
how to do this stuff on your own, because I don't  know. Although I
would imagine the process is very similar with other versions of
Windows ...

Anyway, enjoy the icons! / mavis

now all my nds games show up with a supercard icon on my pc

I tried this:

Make a "autorun.inf" file.
Inside it have:

[autorun]
icon=autorun.ico

"autorun.ico" is the name of the icon in this case. You could make both the files hidden if you wanted to. Both these files are on the root of the card.

ALSO! Some programs (such as "IconTweaker") can asign icons to drives. But I don't know how good it is (eg: transfer to other PCs).

Is there a better way?
