Is the Supercard compatible with MMC cards?

I am having no luck getting the Supercard SD to read my MMC card. Am I right in thinking it will only work with a SD card?

as far as i know only sd cards work but ive heard of people using transflash & mini sd in sd adapters (i could be wrong)
