Animal Crossing (U) save convert to (E) save - HELP!!!!

Hello!

Anybody can tell me how to convert the USA Animal Crossing save file to Animal Crossing EUR save file to work on the DS and "open" the save file in the EUR game?

I hope anybody help!

Did you try renaming the save file to the (exact) same name as the (E) rom? I'm not sure if this will work but it can't hurt to try (backup your sav file first).

I did that exact same thing with mario kart and it worked perfectly

I tried everything to convert the (U) Save to a (E) Save. But it´s impossible to play it.
You must start the Game with a New Savegame, to play with the (E) Version. There is no other way.

Well, there is an AC trainer available. I've never used it before but I think it can restore some of your items. You could also post a request in the DS Cheats & Saves forum.

Some games work like that, such as MarioKart and Castlevania, but AC doesn't. YOu're gonna have to start a new game.

In general, the name changing idea only works if the differing versions have very little in the way of differences.

Thanks all, I played this game about 2 weeks, and thats a wonderfull game! I live in Europe, and I plan to brought this game, then when I brought, place my save to it - but I played the USA version, and that's not working with the Europe version.

Now, I have to start a New Game - a new town, new things, etc.

And my (USA, of course) town is get now familiar to me... and now... oh, okay, just for the game! Now, I thank to all that tryed to help me, thanks all, and I start a new game based on my old town (without any trainer, etc. - I doesn't like them), thats random I know but I start a new game if the town is not fit to me.

My problem has finally solved!

I started a new game on the European version, and that's a very-lucky game start! My town is a dream-town! Wow... thanks all!
