I just downloaded version 1.7 of Picodrive (Sega Genesis/Megadrive emulator) and I can't get it to work on my DS. If I run the "picodriveds.ds.gba" file it just doesn't run, and if I run the "picodriveds.nds" file I get white screens.

I've always been able to figure out how to get homebrew software to run before, but this one has me stumped! I tried patching it with the DLDI tool, but that didn't work (same white screens). The closest I have been to getting it working was installing Moonshell and running it from inside there. It seems to launch then but gives me the following code:

Trying to init FAT...
FAT init Failed.
Appended ROM check...ROM NOT FOUND!

No way to load ROMs found.

Any ideas?

I was able to get version 1.6 running in moonshell.

Is there any way to set the buttons for this? I could only seem to get two buttons to function. Playing streetfighter II with only 2 punch buttons is no good at all.

Did you make sure to use the .ds.gba file when patching with DLDI?  And are you sure you used the correct DLDI patch?  It should be the regular Supercard SD one, not the SC Lite one.

So that's the secret It boots without moonshell now.

The trouble is it still gives me the same error
