Like many, I found that after installing 2.50(CF) my 'options' were set to SD and couldn't be changed to CF.

After clicking all the buttons randomly, I eventually got them to go to CF, so I was happy.

THen I added a ROM, double click and found all of those options were deselected.. I selected them all, quit, started again and found that now they were set by default.. EXCEPT "Trim ROM".. No matter what I do, when ever I relaunch the Supercard Software, the "Trim ROM" option is not selected.

Has anyone else noticed this?

I just checked the registry entry for SuperCard and it seems to me (correct me if i'm wrong) the only NDS options that are saved are ROM Position, Run Fast and Save Position. So I think all others will always revert to default, which unfortunately "Trim Rom" is off by default.

Its a chore I agree, lets just hope the next version we have that implemented.

So does that mean that if 'Trim Rom' is unchecked, the output file size will be the same as it was a few versions back before 'trimming' was implimented? (i.e it will be as big as the original rom file)?

If I understand this correctly, the last version (2.50?) only trimmed and you couldn't switch it off. So, now in 2.60 it DOESN'T trim unless you check the box.

I was hoping it was just a bug, but it doesn't even look for the key, so no way of hacking it to work

I believe so.
Prior to when trimming was introduced i was actually doing my own trimming using some 3rd party tool. So even now, with a little clicks its still way easier for me

I finally got around to downloaded v2.52 expecting this issue to be fixed.. But its still the same.. You still have to double click on EVERY rom and tick 'Trim' and the settings isn't remembered!

Very annoying!
