Anybody know of a way to convert Quicktime .mov files to .dpg?  Seems like all the good small files I get are .mov :|

Thanks Bitblt.  Anyone else ever converted one of these and mind sharing their experience?  I think I'll just pick one and mess around with it.

I use to have to go thru the extra trouble to first convert the .mov to .avi and then to .dpg. Now there is an alternative. Go here: http://gbatmw.proboards44.com/index.cgi?board=mnshllgen&action=display&thread=1149097698

Download Avisynth 2.5  and BatchDPG converter tool and install them. All instructions are on the page. Unlike the default dpgenc.exe, it'll convert pretty much any movie file including .mov

RAD Video tools can convert most video types, including mov.

I use Total Video Converter for most of my conversions lately, but I can't really reccommend it except for converting FLV (the format Youtube uses) - it fails at compressing video into a decent format, and I have to reprocess the resultant file with VirtualDub to make it usable.

you guys have to convert your mov. files to avi. ? I just conver them directly   from mov. to dpg. using the dpgV10 tools

WOW!  That actually worked.  It is not listed as a supported file type.  I clicked on "all files" selected it and it converted.  Amazing!

hell yes it works, they should mention that in the encoding software. Because why convert to avi and loose quality when you can convert them directly. Not to mention mov. quality is beautiful.
