Hi, I got my Supercard SD and Superpass 2 today, I managed to flash my DS just fine. But now I've come across a huge problem. I can't run any anything. When I try to load a game, after the x/y kb bit then the top screen goes white and the bottom screen stays blank as if I was playing a GBA Game, and DS games don't even appear in my SC Menu unless I put .gba (So my file becomes metroidprimehunters.nds.gba for instance), I tried patching it but I get a .nds.dsq file which won't even appear on the SC Menu, and when I put .gba on the end and try playing it the same problem occurs. Someone please help me  .
EDIT: And just so you know GBA Games don't work either, except one game. It's a GBA Homebrew game, I don't know why it seems to work.
EDIT2: I tried to patch GBA Games and they seem to work :)! But DS games still won't work no matter what, I patch them, and they don't even show up on the SC Menu as I said before.

Did you update your supercard firmware in GBA mode?

Help us help you by checking your DS version . . .

Ok, but how do you run the firmware upgrade on your DS? Sorry for my noobiness. And my DS has firmware 3 (Both screens turn green and I got it reasonably close to launch.).

Lucky you, this should be easy. Your version DS only needs "passme". Superpass2 should come pre-configured as "passme" by default (mine was).

Update supercard firmware . . .
1) remove superpass2 from DS
2) format SD as FAT (not FAT32)
3) copy latest supercard firmware bin file (v1.61) to SD
http://www.scdev.org/index.php?cat=downloads&type=sd
4) put SD into supercard, put supercard into DS, power on DS
5) select DS option "Start GBA game" to start supercard in GBA mode
6) you should now see supercard menu, yes?
7) select and run supercard firmware bin file

Test supercard+superpass2 in DS mode . . .
1) put superpass2 switch in up position
http://www.supercard.cn/superpass2/images_en/image008.jpg
2) insert superpass2 (and game) into DS, then power on DS
3) you should now see the dual screen supercard logo menu, yes?

Patch "clean dump" game roms . . .
1) verify game roms with Nintenren software
2) patch game roms with latest supercard patcher software (v2.52)
http://www.scdev.org/index.php?cat=downloads&type=sd
3) use this list for best patcher software options
http://www.dualscene.net/lists/index.php?listname=Supercard
4) copy patched *.dsq and *.sav files to SD
5) run patched files in DS mode

Let us know at what point you run into problems, if any. Good luck.

Don't worry about upgrading your DS firmware until you follow the above steps first.  Only then will you be able to run the FlashMe firmware upgrade for DS.

Thanks, I'll try that when I get back from school.

I've updated the firmware and I've tested my supercard and Superpass2. It can run DS Games, but only when I've got Superpass2 inserted, and I know you don't need Superpass2 (Except to flash it) so I'm doing something wrong. And I don't understand how to 'run patched files in DS mode'.

Excellent. You are not doing anything wrong.  DS mode is when you start your DS+supercard with your superpass2 inserted.  You will know you are in DS mode when you see the dual screen supercard logo menu.  If you want to run games in DS mode without having to use superpass2, you will need to flash your DS firmware with FlashMe.

Using SCDev.org forums search on keyword "how-to" I found this tutorial . . .

How-To: FlashMe using PassMe/SuperPass+

I hope this helps.
