Supercard flat out doesn't work

SCROLL DOWN FOR SHORT VERSION IF YOU DONT LIKE TO READ.

Alright, here is my problem. When I first got my supercard, it pretty much worked fine. I have an 8 MB compact flash card, which worked to test it out and everything, but obviously 8MB is only enough to hold one game if your lucky so I went out and bought a new SanDisk 128MB CF card. No, it is not CF 2 and not turbo speed or anything like that its just a normal CF card. So I put my games on it and it works for the most part pretty well.
Then for some reason suddenly I keep getting CF card not found or Not in FAT format errors, even though I have formatted it and the CF card was in the slot. I figured out that by wiggling around the supercard and when putting it into my GBA ( I have a gba origional, not SP) I wouldn't push it in all the way and for some reason which I do not understand this worked. Then, it got a little ridiculus because I would have to keep shifting around the CF card and the SC to make it work correctly and it worked about 1 in 30 trys. All during this, my 8MB worked fine but my SanDisk was the one with the problems. Then, suddenly, my 8MB card wouldn't work either. Now none of this came because of any reason for example me dropping it or anything like that, it just hapened randomly.
At this point, it would give me No CF found errors most of the time, but if I was lucky maybe once in 50 tries it would work. Now, I dont get any errors, I just get the GAMEBOY screen. It doesn't even have the "nintendo" at the bottom, which is what you get when you turn on your GBA with no game in it, so obviously the GBA isn't recognising the SC. Now, I have tried formatting on multiple computers, I have tried formatting in different ways on both both cards, I have the latest firmware. I have tried it on a friends GBA SP and with his flash card, and it doesn't work. So does anyone have any suggestions? I think I might just return it and wait for the Supercard SD version, either that or I'll get a different flash card becuase this really isn't working at all. Oh and if it helps I ordered it from www.kicktrading.ca Thanks for the help.

SHORT VERSION: When I first got my supercard, it worked fine but now all I get is the GAMEBOY screen and then a white screen and the gameboy can't even recognize the supercard. I have tried three difference CF cards and I have tried it on a GBA and GBA SP.

EDIT: Actually, now after trying a little, I can usually get it to say GAMEBOY with the "Nintendo" at the bottom instead of just "GAMEBOY", but it still goes to a white screen. This should mean that the gameboy can regognize the SC, but for some reason it isn't working.

Ramin

Well, the cat's out of the bag, people.

The Supercard doesn't really exist. We've all been fooling ourselves believing that we're using a device that allows CF storage on a GBA cart. Dammit, we've been keeping this under wraps for so long.

Oh yeah, it "flat out doesn't work" either. But that's a given, since it doesn't exist.

Oh haha. Look, please try reading my post and maybe trying to help me first before you just read the title and go one some sarcastic attack at my post. I'm not saying the supercard doesn't work, I'm saying my supercard doesn't work. Maybe if you read my post you would understand. I guess I should have made the title "My Supercard flat out doesn't work", but I didn't think people would make that misconception.

And the truth is I really can't tell if your attacking my post or if your just trying to be funny, so sorry if I'm coming off as being a little mean.

hey man, try different firmwares, etc... maybe one will run... i know different firmwares recognize different cf cards differently... good luck...

just copy the upgrade.scu file to the root of your cf card and see if it works...

Nah, man, I'm trying to be an idiot.

And succeeding, apparently.

Well, I am trying to do this, but I can't even get the supercard to boot. I will keep trying, but it only works every once in a while.

Heh, it's alright.

make the self test, lokk like  sdram problem

I'm in the same shape.
But I can get it to boot maybe once in 5 tries.
Here's what I do push the CF card in all the way with the supercard NOT inside your DS/GBA.  You'll hear a click if it's like mine (i.e. it's slightly loose).  Check that the silicon chip is at the absolute edge of cartridge.
If you check the supercard on the underside where the contacts are, I can bet it's slightly "bowed"
POS is so cheaply made.
Now this is the key, insert it so that one side is below the other (slightly off kilter).  Keep pushing on that one side when inserting the cartridge.  If you hear a "snap" sound when inserting, it will boot 80% of the time otherwise it'll white out on you.
My seller refuses to take mine back (the bastard).  I barely even used it which pisses me off to no end.
