Slider to adjust sound volume is disabled and can't be moved. Is this right and is there a workaround?

I have this same problem too.  Older versions would let me change it, but now I no longer can.  It might have something to do with the volume changing while running Moonshell (X and Y) working alot better, though.  Turning it up like that seems to do just as good as the slider bar in DPGenc used to.
