I spent hours messing with my supercard the other night... trying out new ds emus and whatnot... and I've had enough. I want to be able to play my GBA games at full speed with real time saves and cheats on. I want to cheat in my NDS games, and RTS there too... and I want NESDS to work. Seriously... the new version doesn't even work with supercard CF. Supercard rules for DS... but I've simply had enough. I'm putting it on ebay with my version 1/2 passme.

I need the best for my handhelds :P and I believe that the M3 perfect is nothing less than the best. Hell. It even supposedly saves all gba games properly. *almost dies of shock*

I can hardly complain though. The supercard is a fantastic device... It runs DS games FLAWLESSLY. Just... I need cheats in my ds games :P especially on trauma centre.

The last thing is the whole emu thing. I want my gameboy and nes games on my ds. Not on my psp where they currently are. Goomba color doesn't save on SC, and NESDS doesn't even work. And NO I'm not going to be using pocketnes. I need the full screen for any emu.

I'm putting it all on ebay in an hour. I might even buy a nice new shell for my ds. I fancy a black one.

Later all.

Critical_Impact

Liek i may be smashed competlty but i have liek game colour games and nes games that save fine on SC SD, so liek before you go dissing the player dont hate the player hate the game yawl, if that makes any sense

m2pt5

Er, I don't think the M3 has cheats for DS games.
Manually signing your posts is dumb.

Firmware versioning: Get a Passcard 3, a SuperKey, or a slot-1 flashkit. Then it doesn't matter which firmware you have.

omaemad

Well now it does have nds cheats

it applies dipstar a homebrew action replay like memeditor to the arm7 binary so pressing L activates cheats

maybe i should look into code of similar products(eg gbasharky) method for the gba and implement them for the sc

thanks omaemad :)

yes. as of the latest firmware revision, m3 perfect has ds cheats.

The guy who has problems speaking english... uh... I know there's a way to get these things to save... but it's complicated. and I stressed about NesDS, the latest version DOES NOT WORK with supercard CF!

I'm not dissing the supercard. I've just made my choice. I'm selling my devices, and buying an m3.

My modded DS

frip

if you had gaming skills like me and not the gaming skills of a four year old you wouldnt need to cheat :D

kyus

frip... I doubt you could hold a candle to my uber l337 sk1llz :P

*ahem*

I mean... I'm not a bad gamer. I just don't waste time doing stuff over and over in games. I only ever did that with pokemon blue... and I came second in the glasgow championship thing. I prefer to play more games. I can sell my superpass and supercard for over £30. I can buy a cf m3 for £50. I think I'll be spending the extra cash for all those features...

Sorry you lot :P But I'm sold. I'm buying an M3.

Yes...unless your cheating to make it harder...

But yea...the M3's ability to play GBA games without needing to reset everytime you want to change something and actually being able to save gba games properlly...stuff any card made for the DS should be able to do really since its a DS basic function to play these games...

But yes, if i didn't care about GBA games like Tales of Phantasia or Final Fantasy IV or others i'd be quite happy with Supercard.

I will likely be getting mine once i get my DSLite.

kyus

Meh... not so much FF4 or TOP :P I completed those YEARS ago :D I'm talking castlevania: Harmony of dissonance and aria of sorrow. I only recently realised that the new castlevania games weren't like the nes and snes games (which bore me.) and were more like the metroid games.

There really should be a new kid icarus for the DS... to replace the fact that there's not gonna be a new 2d metroid. The kid icarus games were built on the metroid engine... so why not evolve it like they did with super metroid? Just an idea :)

Anyway... yes... I'm buying an M3 from divineo.cn. Can't wait to be able to actually FILL my 2gb cf with all those gba games and know they'll all be playable. It's kinda hit or miss with supercard most times. I'll still remain active around these forums of course. If supercard does ever release something better... then i'll buy that :P

I did too, but not with the GBA enhancements. Plus, replaying classic games are always good, FE: Chrono Trigger.

Yea...i would really like it if the compatability rate was increased and the need not to have to constantly reboot to make my games work because outside of the GBA section supercard is a good card...but unfortunatly i like too many games for GBA, like HM:FoMT and Love Hina Advance, Legend of Mana i'll try as well...

FUNK YOU THEN!!!11!1!111!!

I totally agree! I've owned several GBA flashcarts in the past (F2A 256 and a 128 EFA) and I somehow regret selling them. With the F2A I had a GB Bridge... and apparently those're rare as hell now. My GBA had an afterburner backlight mod installed too. I made sure I sold it all before the GBASP came out. I know the supercard is something special, but when there's better out there, I always go for the best. I tried playing Love Hina Advance, but never really bothered with it. You think I should stick at it? Sword of Mana rules as well. I can remember that never ever fit on my ez flash advance 128. even tho its supposedly the right size.

I'm gonna give chrono trigger a shot on the psx soon. I completed it years ago, but I do rather want to play these games with the extra fmv. tales of phantasia tho... hmm... I'm sure i'll play the gba version with cheats. I gave it a go.. and right from the start it seemed insanely difficult. I'm not keen on the graphical "modifications" though. I think they look a whole lot worse.

As for LH Advance its a good game to play and finish. Replay value once you finish it is limited somewhat though. It's also not a game to play if you haven't watched the series. Sword of Mana - You didn't try using a program to cut off the useless data at the end of the cart to fit it on you EZFA128? CT for PSX - Word of warning if you haven't played it already - battles take forever to load because the game is essentially an emulated rom that was hacked at places to allow enhancements and changes for the PS1. And Tales of Phantasia....well it was a mix from the PS1 version and the SFAM version. It's better overall than the SFAM version, but generally not as good as the PS1 version...but not many outside Japan know about that one.
