hi,

i get the same error everytime i try to convert a .avi (divx or xvid) with dpg tools:

"can not detect total play time"

any ideas why?

finduz

I think it's because the file is too big. :-/ It can't be bigger than 30MB when its converted.

mozzer999

.dpg can be way more then 30 mb

It maybe that you are trying to convert a corrupted avi.

Try another file, and see what happens.

Try and fix the avi using divfix.

Just some ideas

monaug5

yeah that still doesnt work

monaug5

i keep gettin this error with MPEG files

downset04

i fixed it,

i installed divx and xvid codec packs

i play all my movies with vlc, but apparently the dpgenc prog needs the codecs in windows

prtobably smae for mpeg

monaug5

so i drag these codec packs into the DPG encoder folders?

monaug5

what codecs do i need to get??
