Aditionaly, turn your DS on while holding A+B+X+Y.
If you DS boots in GBA mode, it'll only show *.gba, *.scz, *.nes, *gb, *.sms and such. For displaying *.dsq and *.dsi it need to boot in DS mode.

When booting as GBA, you'll see the old GBA intro screen, bottom screen is turned off.
When booting as DS, both the screens will turn on. No intro screen will show. Bottom screen displays SuperCard logo.

Firmware 1.62 will boot as DS by default.
