This  can make gba roms from snes roms which will run on flashcarts.http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=7265

I might try later with yoshi's island, it may run at full speed.

From the readme:

"The emulator is far from complete as of 12 May 2006, but it is already
running some games at fairly decent speed, even though it is running them at
full. Gradius III and Castlevania X seems to run very well"

Also "The Snezziboy Emulator ("Program") is: Copyright (C) 2006 bubble2k"

I wonder if thats the very same bubble2k who developed the prefetch SC patcher?

could be the same guy ... I wonder if there are compatabilty problems with actually running the converted roms on a gba/ds via flashcart

et100

great!

let us know after you try it.
from readme.txt :

(For Supercard users, please run the .gba file through the Supercard
patcher before playing. I recommend turning all options except
  Compress off).

it would be really great if we can get that FF series running..

meangreenie

There is a missing snezzi.gba file.  i don't know how to compile the source to get it.

if anyone knows how, could they compile it and link the snezzi.gba file.. thanks

ratx

here's a built version

http://l33t.spod.org/ratx/DS/misc/snezzi.gba

I can confirm this this worked for me for Super Mario World w/ a mini SD on a lite. Oddly though it doesn't work w/SC in a micro, nor does it work at all if flashed onto my EFAII in either DS or Micro...

Jinnai

This looks so promising, but without the sneszzi.gba file its hard to tell...

EDIT: NM. The post i was doing was done while my last one was being typed before i refreshed.

Jinnai

It wasn't working for me and then i realized...stupid me...that the snezzi.dat was 2 bytes....yea

Anyway make sure you don't have any typographical symbols in your rom names atleast when you go to convert them...i did so with Rudra's Treasure and got an error. But its nothing a little file renaming won't fix.

Shinseiki

How much big is your snezzi.dat ? (mine is 2bytes too) because i cant get ANY rom to work :-/ not even super mario world !

meangreenie

yep 2 bytes here too... every rom I have tried says 'no patch data found'
Yes I'm mad

Shinseiki

Ok, i got the rom working, but every rom is laggy as hell...not to say graphic as bug.

But i can say i am waiting for future release :)

(i am not native english and i ve mistunderstood something)

Jinnai

go and get superDAT from SnesAdvance and rename the file to snezzi.dat

NT

This is really cool, but why not harness the extra power of the DS in 2006?

JLsoft

...because everyone with either system has the ability to play GBA code :)
