I need an IPS patch for Super Metroid to make it work with SNES DS. According to this compatibility list (http://luffy.free.fr/nds/snesds_compat/index.php), I need one that ensures Game Genie compatibility. Please help - thanks!

Also, GBA games won't save. I have the 64 KB .sav file on the card, but they won't save. Help? :-/

first make sure you save through the game(pacth the game with realtime save and save) and then you cant' just turn it off, you have to back the save to the sd card by pressing L+R+Select+A and to real time save( this is a state save, anywhere, anytime) L+R+Select+B.
the. Realtime saves have to be manually load up, sd gba saves load automatically.

Ah, that's cool. It worked! Thanks a lot for the help!

For my other question... again, anyone know anything about the Super Metroid Game Genie IPS patch? I really really really really really want to play this game, and I hear it runs PERFECTLY once I have this patch going so I can get past the goddamn error screen (it warns me that copying a game is a major crime... wow, the copy protection actually works!). :-/ Please help - this happens on all versions of the game.

what? i've never had this problem, what are you using? ds or ds lite?
and does it say in the beginning when you start the game or at certain level of the game?

oh, and your welcome.

I'm using SNES DS, trying to run about 15 different versions of Super Metroid on a SuperCard SD. They all give me the error message right after the silver Nintendo logo comes on. Is there a more recent version of SNES DS than 12-31-2005?

I figure that on the compatibility list I'm using (http://luffy.free.fr/nds/snesds_compat/index.php), under Super Metroid, there are two NEAR PERFECT entries. One says that it gives the weirdest error message ever (which is definitely the one I'm getting), and the other says something about how the Game Genie IPS patch gets rid of the error. I can believe it, too, since in the European version the error just says to remove any unofficial attachments to the system. Perhaps the Game Genie-compatible version doesn't have the piracy protection. I hope the extra info helps :) If you have a version working, just, uh, give me some more info and I'll try and locate it :-P

EDIT: Heh, almost forgot. Regular DS (Electric Blue), FlashMe v7.
